رَجُلٍ اشْتَرَى جَارِيَةً يَطَؤُهَا فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ وَلَداً فَمَاتَ وَلَدُهَا فَقَالَ إِنْ شَاءُوا بَاعُوهَا فِي الدَّيْنِ الَّذِي يَكُونُ عَلَى مَوْلَاهَا مِنْ ثَمَنِهَا وَ إِنْ كَانَ لَهَا وَلَدٌ قُوِّمَتْ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا مِنْ نَصِيبِهِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man who bought a slave girl (and) copulated with her. So she gave birth for him to a child, and her child died. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If he so desires to, he sells her regarding the debts which happen to be upon her master, from her price, and if there was a child for her, it would be evaluated upon her child from his share’.
