Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Suleym Al Farra, from Al Hassan Bin Muslim who said, ‘My maternal aunt narrated to me. She said, ‘I was seated by the courtyard of the Kabah, when Abu Abdullahasws came over. So when heasws saw me, altered hisasws course towards me. So heasws greeted me and heasws said: ‘What makes you sit over here?’ So I said, ‘I am awaiting a slave of ours’. She said, ‘So heasws said to me: ‘Emancipate him’. I said, ‘No, but we have emancipated his father’. So heasws said: ‘That is not your slave. This is your brother, and a son of your uncle. But rather, the slave is the one upon whom the bounty flowed. So when it flowed upon his father and his grandfather, so he is a son of your uncle, and your brother’.
