قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مَا تَقُولُ فِي الْبَازِي وَ الصَّقْرِ وَ الْعُقَابِ فَقَالَ إِنْ أَدْرَكْتَ ذَكَاتَهُ فَكُلْ مِنْهُ وَ إِنْ لَمْ تُدْرِكْ ذَكَاتَهُ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ .
اردو
میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: 'باز، صقر اور عقاب کے بارے میں آپ کیا فرماتے ہیں؟' تو آپ نے فرمایا: 'اگر تم نے اس کا ذبح پا لیا تو اس سے کھاؤ، اور اگر تم اس کا ذبح نہ پا سکے تو مت کھاؤ۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, altogether from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Raib, from Abu Ubeyda Al Haza’a who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘What are you<sup>asws</sup> saying regarding the falcon, and the hawk, and the eagle?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If you come to it, purify (slaughter) it, so eat from it, and if you do not come to it (and) purify (slaughter) it, so do not eat’.
