سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ كَانَ أَبِي ( عليه السلام ) يُفْتِي فِي زَمَنِ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ أَنَّ مَا قَتَلَ الْبَازِي وَ الصَّقْرُ فَهُوَ حَلَالٌ وَ كَانَ يَتَّقِيهِمْ وَ أَنَا لَا أَتَّقِيهِمْ وَ هُوَ حَرَامٌ مَا قَتَلَ .
اردو
میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے سنا: میرے والد علیہ السلام بنو امیہ کے زمانے میں یہ فتویٰ دیتے تھے کہ باز اور شاہین نے جو شکار مارا وہ حلال ہے، اور وہ ان سے تقیہ کرتے تھے، لیکن میں ان سے نہیں ڈرتا اور جو انہوں نے مارا وہ حرام ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Al Mufazzal Bin Salih, from Aban Bin Taghlub who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘My<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> was issuing Fatwas during the era of the Clan of Umayya that whatever the falcon and the hawk kills, so it is Permissible, and he<sup>asws</sup> was observing dissimulation from them, and I<sup>asws</sup> am not fearing them (anymore), and it is Prohibited what (they) kill’.
