سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الصَّيْدِ يَضْرِبُهُ الرَّجُلُ بِالسَّيْفِ أَوْ يَطْعُنُهُ بِالرُّمْحِ أَوْ يَرْمِيهِ بِسَهْمٍ فَقَتَلَهُ وَ قَدْ سَمَّى حِينَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ كُلْ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ .

حلبی نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا اس شکار کے بارے میں جسے آدمی تلوار سے مارے یا نیزے سے چھیدے یا تیر سے مارے اور مار ڈالے، اور اس نے یہ کرتے وقت بسم اللہ پڑھی ہو پس آپ نے فرمایا: کھاؤ، اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں۔
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bim Abdul Jabbar, and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Safwan, from Ibn Muskan, from Al Halby who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the hunt which the man has struck by the sword, or stabbed it with the spear, or shot at by an arrow, so he killed it, and he had Named (<span class="iTxt">Bismillah</span>) when he did that. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Eat, there is no problem with it’.
