سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى قُلْ إِنَّما أَعِظُكُمْ بِواحِدَةٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا أَعِظُكُمْ بِوَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ ( عليه السلام ) هِيَ الْوَاحِدَةُ الَّتِي قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى إِنَّما أَعِظُكُمْ بِواحِدَةٍ .

الحسین بن محمد، معلیٰ بن محمد سے، وہ الوشاء سے، وہ محمد بن الفضیل سے، وہ ابی حمزہ سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا جعفر علیہ السلام سے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس قول کے بارے میں پوچھا: کہہ دو: میں تمہیں صرف ایک ہی بات کی نصیحت کرتا ہوں۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “میں تمہیں صرف علی علیہ السلام کی ولایت کی نصیحت کرتا ہوں؛ یہی وہ ایک بات ہے جس کے بارے میں اللہ، بابرکت اور بلند و برتر، نے فرمایا:” “میں تمہیں صرف ایک بات کی نصیحت کرتا ہوں۔”
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washha, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzayl, from Abu Hamza who said, ‘I asked Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> the Exalted <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:34#h46"><a href="/books/quran:34#h46">[34:46]</a></a> Say: But rather, I exhort you to one thing</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘But rather, I<sup>saww</sup> exhort you all with the Wilayah of Ali<sup>asws</sup>, it is the ‘one thing’ which Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High Spoke of <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:34#h46"><a href="/books/quran:34#h46">[34:46]</a></a> But rather, I exhort you to one thing</span>’.
