John Shaqi

أَهْدَى الْفَيْضُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) رَبِيثَا فَأَدْخَلَهَا إِلَيْهِ وَ أَنَا عِنْدَهُ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا وَ قَالَ هَذِهِ لَهَا قِشْرٌ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ وَ نَحْنُ نَرَاهُ .


Translation

Hanan Bin Sudeyr said, ‘Al-Fayz Bin Mukhtar gifted sea bass to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, and went over to him<sup>asws</sup>, and I was in his<sup>asws</sup> presence. So he<sup>asws</sup> looked at it and said: ‘This has scales on it, therefore eat from it’, and we saw him<sup>asws</sup> (eating it)’.
