سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ ذَبْحِ الْبَقَرِ فِي الْمَنْحَرِ فَقَالَ لِلْبَقَرِ الذَّبْحُ وَ مَا نُحِرَ فَلَيْسَ بِذَكِيٍّ .

علی نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے صفوان سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو الحسن علیہ السلام سے گائے کو منحر میں ذبح کرنے کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: گائے کے لیے ذبح ہے، اور جسے نحر کیا جائے وہ ذکی نہیں۔
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Safwan who said, ‘I asked Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> about slaughter of the cow in the upper part of the chest. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘For the cow and what is slaughtered in the upper part of the chest, so it is not with a (valid) slaughter’.
