كُلْ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ مَا كَانَتْ لَهُ قَانِصَةٌ وَ لَا مِخْلَبَ لَهُ قَالَ وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ طَيْرِ الْمَاءِ فَقَالَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ .
اردو
پرندے میں سے وہ کھاؤ جس کے پاس پوٹا ہو اور اس کے پنجے نہ ہوں۔ راوی نے کہا: اور میں نے اس سے پانی کے پرندوں کے بارے میں پوچھا تو اس نے فرمایا: اسی طرح ہے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Haroun Bin Muslim, from Mas’ada Bin Sadaqa, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Eat from the bird what had a gizzard for it, but no claw for it’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the birds of the water, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Similar to that’.
