سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقُلْتُ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَبَلِ تَثْقُلُ عِنْدَهُمْ أَلَيَاتُ الْغَنَمِ فَيَقْطَعُونَهَا فَقَالَ حَرَامٌ هِيَ فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ فَنَصْطَبِحُ بِهَا فَقَالَ أَ مَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّهُ يُصِيبُ الْيَدَ وَ الثَّوْبَ وَ هُوَ حَرَامٌ .

میں نے ابو الحسن علیہ السلام سے پوچھا اور کہا: جعلت فداک! پہاڑی علاقے کے لوگوں کے پاس بھیڑوں کی دنبیاں بھاری ہو جاتی ہیں تو وہ انہیں کاٹ دیتے ہیں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: یہ حرام ہے۔ میں نے کہا: جعلت فداک! ہم ان سے روشنی کرتے ہیں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: کیا تم نہیں جانتے کہ یہ ہاتھ اور کپڑے کو لگتا ہے اور یہ حرام ہے؟
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moala Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali who said, ‘I asked Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, so I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! The people of the mountains, the tails of the sheep get heavy in their presence so they are cutting these off’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is Prohibited’. So I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! We are lighting the fires with these’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘But do you not know that if it hits the hand and the clothes, and it is Prohibited?’
