رَجُلٍ ضَرَبَ غَزَالًا بِسَيْفِهِ حَتَّى أَبَانَهُ أَ يَأْكُلُهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا يَلِي الرَّأْسَ ثُمَّ يَدَعُ الذَّنَبَ .

محمد بن یحیی نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے یعقوب بن یزید اور یحییٰ بن المبارک سے، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن جبلہ سے، انہوں نے اسحاق بن عمار سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ (علیہ السلام) سے روایت کی کہ ایک آدمی نے اپنی تلوار سے ہرن کو مارا یہاں تک کہ اسے دو حصوں میں کاٹ دیا — کیا وہ اسے کھا سکتا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: 'ہاں، سر کے قریب والے حصے میں سے کھائے، پھر دم چھوڑ دے۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, and Yahya Bin Al Mubarak, from Abdullah Bin Jabala, from Is’haq Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man who struck a gazelle with his sword until he cut it into two. Can he eat it?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, he can eat from what follows the head, then leave the tail’.
