نَزَلَ جَبْرَئِيلُ ( عليه السلام ) بِهَذِهِ الْآيَةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) هَكَذَا فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ حَقَّهُمْ قَوْلًا غَيْرَ الَّذِي قِيلَ لَهُمْ فَأَنْزَلْنا عَلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ حَقَّهُمْ رِجْزاً مِنَ السَّماءِ بِما كانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ .

احمد بن مہران، عبدالعظیم بن عبداللہ سے، محمد بن الفضیل سے، ابو حمزہ سے، ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: جبرئیل علیہ السلام یہ آیت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ پر اس طرح نازل ہوئے: پس جنہوں نے محمد کے اہلِ بیت کے حق پر ظلم کیا، انہوں نے اسے اس قول کے بجائے بدل دیا جو ان سے کہا گیا تھا؛ پس ہم نے ان لوگوں پر جنہوں نے محمد کے اہلِ بیت کے حق پر ظلم کیا، ان کی نافرمانی کی وجہ سے آسمان سے عذاب نازل کیا۔
Translation
Ahmad Bin Mihran, from Abdul Azeem Bin Abdullah, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzayl, from Abu Hamza, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘<span style="text-decoration: underline">Jibraeel</span><sup style="text-decoration: underline">as</sup><span style="text-decoration: underline"> descended with this Verse unto Muhammad</span><sup style="text-decoration: underline">saww</sup><span style="text-decoration: underline">, like this</span> - <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h59"><a href="/books/quran:2#h59">[2:59]</a></a> But those who were unjust to the Progeny of Muhammad</span><sup class="ibTxt">s</sup><sup class="ibTxt">aww</sup><span class="ibTxt"> of their rights changed it for a word other than that which had been Spoken to them, so We Sent upon those who were unjust to the Progeny of Muhammad</span><sup class="ibTxt">s</sup><sup class="ibTxt">aww</sup><span class="ibTxt"> of their rights a Torment from the sky, because they transgressed</span>’.
