قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّا نَجِدُ لِطَعَامِ الْعُرْسِ رَائِحَةً لَيْسَتْ بِرَائِحَةِ غَيْرِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَا مِنْ عُرْسٍ يَكُونُ يُنْحَرُ فِيهِ جَزُورٌ أَوْ تُذْبَحُ بَقَرَةٌ أَوْ شَاةٌ إِلَّا بَعَثَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى مَلَكاً مَعَهُ قِيرَاطٌ مِنْ مِسْكِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يُدِيفَهُ فِي طَعَامِهِمْ فَتِلْكَ الرَّائِحَةُ الَّتِي تُشَمُّ لِذَلِكَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Mahboub, from Muawiya Bin Ammar who said, ‘A man said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘We tend to find such aroma in the wedding feast which is not to be found elsewhere’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said to him: ‘There is none from a wedding which takes place, in which either a camel is sacrificed, or a cow is slaughtered, or a sheep, except that Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High Sends a carat of musk of the Paradise until it blends in their food. Thus, that is the aroma which you smell, due to that’.
