سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ لَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) تَيْماً وَ عَدِيّاً وَ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ يَرْكَبُونَ مِنْبَرَهُ أَفْظَعَهُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى قُرْآناً يَتَأَسَّى بِهِ وَ إِذْ قُلْنا لِلْمَلائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبى ثُمَّ أَوْحَى إِلَيْهِ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنِّي أَمَرْتُ فَلَمْ أُطَعْ فَلَا تَجْزَعْ أَنْتَ إِذَا أَمَرْتَ فَلَمْ تُطَعْ فِي وَصِيِّكَ .

میں نے ابوالحسن (عليه السلام) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: جب رسول اللہ (صلى الله عليه وآله) نے تیم، عدی، اور بنی امیہ کو اپنے منبر پر چڑھتے دیکھا تو آپ کو سخت صدمہ پہنچا۔ پس اللہ، بابرکت اور بلند و برتر، نے قرآن نازل فرمایا جس کے ذریعے آپ کو تسلی دی گئی: اور جب ہم نے فرشتوں سے کہا: آدم کو سجدہ کرو، تو انہوں نے سجدہ کیا مگر ابلیس نے انکار کیا۔ پھر اس کی طرف وحی کی: اے محمد، میں نے حکم دیا مگر میری اطاعت نہ کی گئی، پس اگر تم حکم دو اور تمہارے وصی کے بارے میں تمہاری اطاعت نہ کی جائے تو غم نہ کرو۔
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from the one who informed him, (It has been narrated) from Ali son of Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> who said, ‘I heard Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘When Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> saw (in a dream), the Clans of Taym and Aday and the Clan of Umayya riding his<sup>saww</sup> Pulpit, it made him<sup>saww</sup> feel terrible. So Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High Revealed Quran to Comfort him<sup>saww</sup> by it <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h34"><a href="/books/quran:2#h34">[2:34]</a></a> And when We said to the Angels: Prostrate to Adam! So they (all) Prostrated except for Iblees. He refused</span>. Then He<sup>azwj</sup> Revealed unto him<sup>saww</sup>: “O Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>! I<sup>azwj</sup> Commanded, but they did not obey, so you<sup>saww</sup> should not be anxious when you<sup>saww</sup> command and they do not obey you<sup>saww</sup> regarding your<sup>saww</sup> successor<sup>asws</sup>’.
