John Shaqi

قَالَ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ الْوُضُوءُ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ يُذْهِبَانِ الْفَقْرَ قُلْتُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَ أُمِّي يَذْهَبَانِ بِالْفَقْرِ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ يَذْهَبَانِ بِهِ.


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Safwan Al Jammal, from Abu Hamza Al Sumaly, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘O Abu Hamza! The ablution before the meal and after it both remove the poverty’. I said, ‘May my father and my mother be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! They both remove the poverty?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, they both remove it’.
