قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) غَسْلُ الْيَدَيْنِ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْعُمُرِ وَ إِمَاطَةٌ لِلْغَمَرِ عَنِ الثِّيَابِ وَ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Qasim Bin Yahya, from his grandfather Al Hassan Bin Rashid, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Washing the two hands before the meal and after it increases in the age, and the removing for the stains from the clothing, and it stimulates the vision’.
