قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَجْمَعُ عِيَالَهُ وَ يَضَعُ مَائِدَةً بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَ يُسَمِّي وَ يُسَمُّونَ فِي أَوَّلِ الطَّعَامِ وَ يَحْمَدُونَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي آخِرِهِ فَتَرْتَفِعُ الْمَائِدَةُ حَتَّى يُغْفَرَ لَهُمْ .
Translation
Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Muhammad Bin Al Hassan Bin Shamoun, from Al Asamma, from Misma’a, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘There is none from a man who gathers his family and the meal is placed in front of him, and he Names (<span class="iTxt">Bismillah</span>) and they are Naming (<span class="iTxt">Bismillah</span>) at the beginning of the meal, and they are praising (Al-Hamdulillah) at the end of it, so the meal is not raised until He<sup>azwj</sup> Forgives them’.
