علی بن محمد، سہل بن زیاد سے، ابن محبوب سے، ہشام بن سالم سے، عمار الساباطی سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے اللہ عزوجل کے اس قول کے بارے میں پوچھا: کیا وہ شخص جو اللہ کی رضا کی پیروی کرتا ہے اس شخص کی مانند ہے جس نے اللہ کا غضب مول لیا ہو اور جس کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہو؟ اور برا ہے انجام۔ وہ اللہ کے نزدیک درجات میں ہیں۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: جو لوگ اللہ کی رضا کی پیروی کرتے ہیں وہ ائمہ ہیں، اور اللہ کی قسم اے عمار، وہ مومنوں کے لیے درجات ہیں۔ ان کی ولایت اور ہماری معرفت کے ذریعے اللہ ان کے اعمال کو ان کے لیے دوگنا کرتا ہے اور انہیں بلند ترین درجات تک پہنچاتا ہے۔

Translation

Ali Bin Muhammad, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Hisham Bin Salim, from Ammar Al Sabaty who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah^asws about the Words of Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:3#h162"><a href="/books/quran:3#h162">[3:162]</a></a> Is then he who follows the Pleasure of Allah like him who has made himself deserving of Wrath from Allah, and his abode is Hell; and it is an evil destination <a href="/#/books/quran:3#h163"><a href="/books/quran:3#h163">[3:163]</a></a> There are (varying) Levels with Allah</span>. So he^asws said: ‘Those who are following the Pleasure of Allah^azwj, they^asws are the Imams^asws, O Ammar!. There are varying levels for the Momineen (followers of 12 Imams^asws), and by their Wilayah and their recognition (understanding) of us^asws. Allah^azwj would Multiply their deeds for them and Allah^azwj would Raise for them the lofty levels’.
