John Shaqi

حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ أَطْعِمُوا الْمَحْمُومَ لَحْمَ الْقِبَاجِ فَإِنَّهُ يُقَوِّي السَّاقَيْنِ وَ يَطْرُدُ الْحُمَّى طَرْداً .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Musa, from Ali Bin Suleyman, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muhammad Bin Hakeym, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> the 1st having said: ‘Feed the feverish the meat of الْقِبَاجِ (a type of pheasant), for it strengthens the two legs and repulses the fever with a repelling’.
