John Shaqi

تَغَدَّيْتُ مَعَ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) فَأَتَى بِقَطَاةٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ مُبَارَكٌ وَ كَانَ أَبِي ( عليه السلام ) يُعْجِبُهُ وَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَنْ يُطْعَمَ صَاحِبُ الْيَرَقَانِ يُشْوَى لَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَنْفَعُهُ .


Translation

From him, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ali Bin Mahziyar who said, ‘I had lunch with Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, so he<sup>asws</sup> came with a sand grouse, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is Blessed and my<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> was fascinated by it, and he<sup>asws</sup> used to instruct the sufferer of jaundice to be fed with it, grilled for him, so he would benefit by it’.
