إِنَّ فِي الْمِلْحِ شِفَاءً مِنْ سَبْعِينَ دَاءً أَوْ قَالَ سَبْعِينَ نَوْعاً مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْأَوْجَاعِ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي الْمِلْحِ مَا تَدَاوَوْا إِلَّا بِهِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ismail Bin Marrar, from Yunus, from a man, from Sa’ad Al Askaf, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘In the salt is a healing from seventy illnesses’, or said: ‘Seventy types of the pains’. Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If the people knew what is in the salt, they would not cure (illnesses) except by it’.
