إِنَّ الْعَقْرَبَ لَسَعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فَقَالَ لَعَنَكِ اللَّهُ فَمَا تُبَالِينَ مُؤْمِناً آذَيْتِ أَمْ كَافِراً ثُمَّ دَعَا بِالْمِلْحِ فَدَلَكَهُ فَهَدَتْ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي الْمِلْحِ مَا بَغَوْا مَعَهُ دِرْيَاقاً .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Abu Ayoub Al Khazzaz, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The scorpion bit Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>, so he<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘May Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Curse you, for you (scorpions) don’t care whether it is a believer that you harm or an Infidel’. Then he<sup>saww</sup> called for the salt, so he<sup>saww</sup> rubbed it down and pressed it’. Then Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If the people knew what was in the salt, they would not seek any other antidote with it’.
