قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) سَيِّدَ وُلْدِ آدَمَ فَقَالَ كَانَ وَ اللَّهِ سَيِّدَ مَنْ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ وَ مَا بَرَأَ اللَّهُ بَرِيَّةً خَيْراً مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) .

محمد بن یحیی، احمد بن محمد سے، ابن فضال سے، عبداللہ بن محمد بن اخی حماد الکاتب سے، الحسن بن عبداللہ سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: 'کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ آدم کی اولاد کے سردار تھے؟' انہوں نے فرمایا: 'اللہ کی قسم، وہ ان سب کے سردار تھے جنہیں اللہ نے پیدا کیا، اور اللہ نے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ سے بہتر کوئی مخلوق پیدا نہیں کی۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazzal, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad Bin Akhy Hammad Al Katib Al Husayn Bin Abdullah who said ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Was Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> the chief of the children of Adam<sup>as</sup>?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘By Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! He<sup>saww</sup> was the chief of the ones Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Created, and Allah<sup>azwj</sup> has no created being better than Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>’.
