التَّمْرُ الْبَرْنِيُّ يُشْبِعُ وَ يَهْنَأُ وَ يَمْرَأُ وَ هُوَ الدَّوَاءُ وَ لَا دَاءَ لَهُ يَذْهَبُ بِالْعَيَاءِ وَ مَعَ كُلِّ تَمْرَةٍ حَسَنَةٌ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ismail Bin Marrar, from Yunus, from Hisham Bin Al Hakam, from Zurrar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘<span class="iTxt">Al-Barny</span> dates satiate, and it is palatable, and it is nourishing, and it is the cure and there is no illness for it. It does away with the fatigue, and with every date is a Reward’.
