سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) يَعْنِي الْأَوَّلَ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَكَلَ رُمَّانَةً يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى الرِّيقِ نَوَّرَتْ قَلْبَهُ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحاً فَإِنْ أَكَلَ رُمَّانَتَيْنِ فَثَمَانِينَ يَوْماً فَإِنْ أَكَلَ ثَلَاثاً فَمِائَةً وَ عِشْرِينَ يَوْماً وَ طُرِدَتْ عَنْهُ وَسْوَسَةُ الشَّيْطَانِ وَ مَنْ طُرِدَتْ عَنْهُ وَسْوَسَةُ الشَّيْطَانِ لَمْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ مَنْ لَمْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ .
Translation
From him, from Al Naheyki, from Ubeydullah Bin Ahmad, from Ziyad Bin Marwan Al Qindy who said, ‘I heard Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, meaning the 1<sup>st</sup>. saying: ‘The one who eats a Pomegranate on the day of Friday upon the empty stomach, would enlighten his heart for forty mornings; and if he were to eat two Pomegranates so it would be for eighty days; and so if he were to eat three, so one hundred and twenty days; and the whisperings of the Satan<sup>la</sup> would be dispelled from him, and the one from whom the whisperings of the Satan<sup>la</sup> are dispelled would not disobey Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic, and the one who does not disobey Allah<sup>asws</sup>, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> would Enter him into the Paradise’.
