John Shaqi

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ التُّفَّاحُ يَنْفَعُ مِنْ خِصَالٍ عِدَّةٍ مِنَ السَّمِّ وَ السِّحْرِ وَ اللَّمَمِ يَعْرِضُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ وَ الْبَلْغَمِ الْغَالِبِ وَ لَيْسَ شَيْ‏ءٌ أَسْرَعَ مِنْهُ مَنْفَعَةً .


Translation

Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Bakr Bin Salih, from Al Ja’fary who said, ‘Abu Al-Hassan Musa<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The apple benefits from the effects from a number of toxins, and the sorcery, and the small faults presented from the people of the earth, and the overwhelming phlegm, and there is nothing quicker than it in benefitting’.
