ذُكِرَتِ الْبُقُولُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فَقَالَ كُلُوا الْكُرَّاثَ فَإِنَّ مَثَلَهُ فِي الْبُقُولِ كَمَثَلِ الْخُبْزِ فِي سَائِرِ الطَّعَامِ أَوْ قَالَ الْإِدَامِ.
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abdullah, from Muhammad Bin Isa, or someone else, from Abdul Rahman, from Hammad Bin Zakariyya, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The vegetables were mentioned in the presence of Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>, so he<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Eat the leek, for its example among the vegetables is like the example of the bread in the rest of the foods’, or said, ‘Sauces’.
