وَطِئَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الرَّمْضَاءَ فَأَحْرَقَتْهُ فَوَطِئَ عَلَى الرِّجْلَةِ وَ هِيَ الْبَقْلَةُ الْحَمْقَاءُ فَسَكَنَ عَنْهُ حَرُّ الرَّمْضَاءِ فَدَعَا لَهَا وَ كَانَ يُحِبُّهَا ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ يَقُولُ مِنْ بَقْلَةٍ مَا أَبْرَكَهَا .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> trod upon the scorching ground, so it burned him<sup>saww</sup>. So he<sup>saww</sup> trod upon the purslane, and it is referred to as the ‘vegetable of the idiots’, so it settled from him<sup>saww</sup> the heat of the scorching ground. So he<sup>saww</sup> supplicated for it, and he<sup>saww</sup> used to love it, and he<sup>saww</sup> was saying: ‘From the vegetables, there is none more Blessed’.
