Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibrahim Bin Abdul Rahman, from his father, from Dawood Bin Farqad who said, ‘I heard Abu Al-Hassanasws saying: ‘Eating the carrots warms the kidneys, and establishes the manhood’. I said to himasws, ‘May I be sacrificed for youasws! How can I eat it and there are no teeth for me’. So heasws said to me: ‘Instruct the maid to boil it, and eat it’.
