سُئِلَ عَنْ أَكْلِ الثُّومِ وَ الْبَصَلِ وَ الْكُرَّاثِ فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِأَكْلِهِ نِيّاً وَ فِي الْقُدُورِ وَ لَا بَأْسَ بِأَنْ يُتَدَاوَى بِالثُّومِ وَ لَكِنْ إِذَا أَكَلَ ذَلِكَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَخْرُجْ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al husayn Bin Saeed, from Hammad, from Shuayb, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> was asked about eating the garlic, and the onion, and the leek, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is no problem in eating it remotely, and in the pots, and there is no problem in curing (illnesses) with the leek, but when one of you eats that (garlic), so he should not go out to the Masjid’.
