قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَصُّوا الْمَاءَ مَصّاً وَ لَا تَعُبُّوهُ عَبّاً فَإِنَّهُ يُوجَدُ مِنْهُ الْكُبَادُ .

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: پانی کو آہستہ آہستہ گھونٹ گھونٹ کر کے پیو اور اسے بھر بھر کر نہ پیو، کیونکہ اس سے جگر کی بیماری پیدا ہوتی ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Ibn Al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Sip the water with a sipping and do not gulp it down with a gulping, for you would find the liver (trouble) from it’.
