لَهُ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ جَدَّكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) صَنَعَ هَكَذَا .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے احمد بن ابی عبد اللہ سے، انہوں نے ابن العرزمی سے، انہوں نے حاتم بن اسماعیل المدینی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ امیر المومنین علیہ السلام پانی پیتے تھے کھڑے ہوئے، پھر اپنے وضو کا بچا ہوا پانی بھی کھڑے ہوکر پیتے تھے۔ پھر آپ نے حسین علیہ السلام کی طرف متوجہ ہوکر فرمایا: اے میرے بیٹے! بے شک میں نے تمہارے نانا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ کو اسی طرح کرتے دیکھا ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Ibn Al Azramy, from Hatim Bin Ismail Al Madainy, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> drank the water and he<sup>asws</sup> was standing, then drank from the remainder of his<sup>asws</sup> ablution, standing. Then he<sup>asws</sup> turned towards Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup>, so he<sup>asws</sup> said to him<sup>asws</sup>: ‘O my<sup>asws</sup> son<sup>asws</sup>! I<sup>asws</sup> saw your<sup>asws</sup> grandfather<sup>saww</sup> Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> doing like this’.
