سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَشْرَبُ الْمَاءَ فَلَا يَقْطَعُ نَفَسَهُ حَتَّى يَرْوَى قَالَ فَقَالَ ( عليه السلام ) وَ هَلِ اللَّذَّةُ إِلَّا ذَاكَ قُلْتُ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ شُرْبُ الْهِيمِ قَالَ فَقَالَ كَذَبُوا إِنَّمَا شُرْبُ الْهِيمِ مَا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَلَيْهِ .
اردو
محمد بن یحییٰ نے، بعض اصحاب سے، عثمان بن عیسیٰ سے، اہل مدینہ کے ایک بزرگ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جو پانی پیتا ہے اور اپنا سانس نہیں توڑتا یہاں تک کہ سیراب ہو جائے۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: کیا لذت اس کے سوا کچھ اور ہے؟ میں نے کہا: لیکن لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ ہیم (پیاسے اونٹوں) کا پینا ہے۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: انہوں نے جھوٹ کہا! بلکہ شرب الہیم تو وہ ہے جس پر اللہ عزوجل کا نام نہ لیا جائے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from one of his companions, from Usman Bin Isa, from an old man from the people of Al Medina who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the man who drinks the water, so he does not cut off his breath until he is quenched’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And is the enjoyment except for that?’ I said, ‘But they (people) are saying that it is the drinking of the thirsty camel’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘They are lying! But rather the drinking of the thirsty camel is what the Name of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic is not mentioned upon’.
