محمد بن یحیی نے، احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے ابن محبوب سے، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن سنان سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: بیشک ایک شخص پانی سے ایک گھونٹ پیتا ہے اور اللہ عزّ وجلّ اس کی وجہ سے اسے جنت میں داخل کر دیتا ہے۔ میں نے عرض کیا: یہ کیسے ہوتا ہے، اے ابن رسول اللہ؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ایک شخص پانی پیتا ہے، پھر اسے روک لیتا ہے اور برتن کو دور کر لیتا ہے جبکہ وہ اسے چاہتا ہے، تو اللہ عزّ وجلّ کی حمد کرتا ہے۔ پھر دوبارہ پیتا ہے، پھر برتن کو دور کر لیتا ہے جبکہ وہ اسے چاہتا ہے، تو اللہ عزّ وجلّ کی حمد کرتا ہے، پھر دوبارہ پی لیتا ہے — اس طرح اللہ عزّ وجلّ اس کے لیے جنت واجب کر دیتا ہے۔

Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abdullah Bin Sinan who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah^asws saying that the man drinks the drink from the water, so Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic Enters him into the Paradise by it’. I said, ‘How is that, O son^asws of Rasool-Allah^saww?’ The man drinks the water, so he cuts it off, then takes pulls away the container although he desires it, so he Praises Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic. Then he repeats it, and he drinks, then he pulls it away although he desires it, so he Praises Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic, then returns to drinking it. Thus, Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic Obligates for him due to that, the Paradise’.
