سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ وَ ذَكَرَ مِصْرَ فَقَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا تَأْكُلُوا فِي فَخَّارِهَا وَ لَا تَغْسِلُوا رُءُوسَكُمْ بِطِينِهَا فَإِنَّهُ يَذْهَبُ بِالْغَيْرَةِ وَ يُورِثُ الدِّيَاثَةَ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، اور حسین بن محمد نے معلی بن محمد سے — سب نے مل کر علی بن اسباط سے — انہوں نے ابو الحسن الرضا علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: میں نے انہیں سنا، اور مصر کا ذکر کیا گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: نہ اس کے مٹکوں میں کھاؤ اور نہ اس کی مٹی سے اپنے سر دھوؤ، کیونکہ یہ غیرت کو ختم کرتی ہے اور دیاثت پیدا کرتی ہے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, and Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moala Bin Muhammad, altogether from Ali Bin Asbaat, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying, and Egypt was mentioned, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Prophet<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Neither eat in its pottery, nor wash your heads with its clay, for it would remove the honour and inherit the actions of a pimp’.
