John Shaqi

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) عَنِ الِاسْتِشْفَاءِ بِالْحُمَّيَاتِ وَ هِيَ الْعُيُونُ الْحَارَّةُ الَّتِي تَكُونُ فِي الْجِبَالِ الَّتِي تُوجَدُ فِيهَا رَائِحَةُ الْكِبْرِيتِ وَ قِيلَ إِنَّهَا مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Haroun Bin Muslim, from Mas’ada Bin sadaqa, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> forbade from healing by the hot flows, and these are the hot springs in which happen to be in the mountains in which the smell of sulphur is found’, and he<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘These are from the mouth of Hell’.
