قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) شَارِبُ الْخَمْرِ لَا يُعَادُ إِذَا مَرِضَ وَ لَا يُشْهَدُ لَهُ جَنَازَةٌ وَ لَا تُزَكُّوهُ إِذَا شَهِدَ وَ لَا تُزَوِّجُوهُ إِذَا خَطَبَ وَ لَا تَأْتَمِنُوهُ عَلَى أَمَانَةٍ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, form his father, from IBn Abu Umeyr, from one of his companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The wine drinker should neither be consoled when he is sick, nor should his funeral be attended, nor should he be verified when he testifies, nor should he be given in marriage when he proposes, nor should he be relied upon an entrustment’.
