قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِنَّ الْخَمْرَ رَأْسُ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Al Abbas Bin Aamir, from Abu Jameela, from Zayd Al Shahaam, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The wine is the starting point of every sin’.
