قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ كَعَابِدِ وَثَنٍ إِذَا مَاتَ وَ هُوَ مُدْمِنٌ عَلَيْهِ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ كَعَابِدِ وَثَنٍ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The habitual (drinker of) the wine is like an idol worshipper. Whenever he dies, and he is habitual over it, would meet Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic when he meets Him<sup>azwj</sup> like an idol worshipper’.
