John Shaqi

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ تَقِيَّةٌ قَالَ لَا يُتَّقَى فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ قُلْتُ وَ مَا هُنَّ قَالَ شُرْبُ الْخَمْرِ أَوْ قَالَ شُرْبُ الْمُسْكِرِ وَ الْمَسْحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَ مُتْعَةُ الْحَجِّ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad, from Hareyz, from Zurara, from someone else who said, ‘I said to Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> regarding the wiping (<span class="iTxt">Masaah</span> in the ablution) upon the two socks, in dissimulation, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is no dissimulation with regards to three (matters)’. I said, ‘And what are these?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Drinking the wine’, or said, ‘Drinking the intoxicants, and the wiping (<span class="iTxt">Masaah</span> in the ablution) upon the two socks, and <span class="iTxt">Mut’aa</span> of Al-Hajj’.
