سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ نَبِيذٍ قَدْ سَكَنَ غَلَيَانُهُ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ قَالَ وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الظُّرُوفِ فَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَ المُزَفَّتِ وَ زِدْتُمْ أَنْتُمُ الْحَنْتَمَ يَعْنِي الْغَضَارَ وَ الْمُزَفَّتُ يَعْنِي الزِّفْتَ الَّذِي يَكُونُ فِي الزِّقِّ وَ يُصَبُّ فِي الْخَوَابِي لِيَكُونَ أَجْوَدَ لِلْخَمْرِ قَالَ وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْجِرَارِ الْخُضْرِ وَ الرَّصَاصِ فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهَا .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Fazalat Bin Ayoub, from Umar Bin Aban Al Kalby, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5th or 6th Imam<sup>asws</sup>), said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about <span class="iTxt">Nabeez</span>, the boiling of which had settled. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Every intoxicant is Prohibited’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the containers. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> had forbidden from the pumpkin (as a container for fermentation), and the asphalted pot, and you have increased <span class="iTxt">Al-Hantam</span>, meaning the clay, and the asphalt meaning the bitumen which happens to be in the skin bag, and it is poured in the mixture for it to better the wine’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the green urns and the lead, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is no problem with these’.
