John Shaqi

إِذَا شَرِبَ الرَّجُلُ النَّبِيذَ الْمَخْمُورَ فَلَا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَتُهُ فِي شَيْ‏ءٍ مِنَ الْأَشْرِبَةِ وَ لَوْ كَانَ يَصِفُ مَا تَصِفُونَ .


Translation

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Ahmad Bin Is’haq, from Bakr Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Abu Yafour, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When the man drinks <span class="iTxt">Al-Nabeez</span>, the fermented, so his testimony is not allowed in anything (when he consumes from the drinks of intoxicants), even if he were to be described to be upon (the belief) that you are upon’.
