Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Musa, from Al Hassan Bin Al Mubarak, from Zakariyya Bin Adam who said, ‘I asked Abu Al-Hassan^asws about a drop of wine or <span class="iTxt">Nabeez</span> drops into a pot wherein is a lot of meat and a lot of broth. So he^asws said: ‘Discard the broth, or feed it to the <span class="iTxt">Ahl Al-Zimma</span>, or the dogs; and the meat, so wash it and eat it’. I said, ‘Supposing there was the drop of blood in it?’ So he^asws said: ‘The blood is consumed by the fire, Allah^azwj Willing’. I said, ‘So (what about) wine or <span class="iTxt">Nabeez</span>, or a drop of blood drops in the flour dough?’ So he^asws said: ‘It spoils’. I said, ‘Can I sell it to the Jews and the Christians and clarify it to them, for they are permitting drinking it?’ He^asws said: ‘And the fermented drink is at that very status, when a drop drops into something from that?’ He^asws said: ‘I^asws dislike that I^asws eat it when a drop drops into something from my^asws meal’.
