فِي رَجُلٍ أَخَذَ عَشَرَةَ أَرْطَالٍ مِنْ عَصِيرِ الْعِنَبِ فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِ عِشْرِينَ رِطْلًا مَاءً وَ طَبَخَهَا حَتَّى ذَهَبَ مِنْهُ عِشْرُونَ رِطْلًا وَ بَقِيَ عَشَرَةُ أَرْطَالٍ أَ يَصْلُحُ شُرْبُ ذَلِكَ أَمْ لَا فَقَالَ مَا طُبِخَ عَلَى ثُلُثِهِ فَهُوَ حَلَالٌ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Muhammad Bin Abdullah, from Uqba Bin Khalid, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said regarding a man who took ten <span class="iTxt">ratls</span> (units of measurement) from the grape juice, so he poured twenty <span class="iTxt">ratls</span> of water over it and cooked it until twenty <span class="iTxt">ratls</span> from it evaporated and there remained ten <span class="iTxt">ratls</span>, is it correct to drink that or not?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Whatever is cooked upon the third of it, so it is Permissible’.
