قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الدَّنُّ تَكُونُ فِيهِ الْخَمْرُ ثُمَّ يُجَفَّفُ يُجْعَلُ فِيهِ الْخَلُّ قَالَ نَعَمْ .
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, and Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad altogether, from Al Hajjal, from Sa’alba, from Hafs Al Awr who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The vat in which the wine happens to be, then it dries up, so the vinegar is made to be in it’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: Yes’.
