كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا لَبِسَ الْقَمِيصَ مَدَّ يَدَهُ فَإِذَا طَلَعَ عَلَى أَطْرَافِ الْأَصَابِعِ قَطَعَهُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Ibn Al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Whenever Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> wore the shirt, extended his<sup>asws</sup> hand, so if it was longer upon the sides of his fingers, cut it off’.
