Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, and a number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, altogether from Ibn Mahboub, from Al Abbas Bin Al Waleed Bin Sabeeh who said, ‘Shihab Bin Abd Rabih asked me that I should seek permission for him to (see) Abu Abdullahasws. So I let Abu Abdullahasws know about that, so heasws said: ‘Tell him he can come to usasws whenever he so desires to’. So I took him over to himasws one night, and Shihab wore a covering of the head. I placed a cushion for him, so he sat over it and Abu Abdullahasws said to him: ‘Remove you veil O Shihab, for the veil casts a doubt during the night and is a disgrace during the day’.
