John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ خِضَابِ الشَّعْرِ فَقَالَ قَدْ خَضَبَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) بِالْكَتَمِ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about dyeing the hair, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Prophet<sup>saww</sup> had dyed, and Ali<sup>asws</sup> Husayn Bin Ali<sup>asws</sup>, and Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> with <span class="iTxt">Al-Katam</span> (a dyeing plant)’.
