خَضَبَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ لَمْ يَمْنَعْ عَلِيّاً ( عليه السلام ) إِلَّا قَوْلُ النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) تَخْتَضِبُ هَذِهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ وَ قَدْ خَضَبَ الْحُسَيْنُ وَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The Prophet<sup>saww</sup> dyed and nothing prevented Ali<sup>asws</sup> except for the words of the Prophet<sup>saww</sup>: ‘You<sup>asws</sup> would be dyeing this (your<sup>asws</sup> beard) from this (head wound)’; and Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> and Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> had dyed’.
