فَضْلُ الْبَنَفْسَجِ عَلَى الْأَدْهَانِ كَفَضْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ عَلَى الْأَدْيَانِ نِعْمَ الدُّهْنُ الْبَنَفْسَجُ لَيَذْهَبُ بِالدَّاءِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ وَ الْعَيْنَيْنِ فَادَّهِنُوا بِهِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Ali Bin Hassan, from Abdul Rahman Bin Kaseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The merit of the violet (oil) upon the (massaging) oils is like the merit of Al-Islam upon the (rest of the) religions. The best of the (massaging) oils is the violet (oil) for removing the illnesses from the head, and the eyes, therefore oil (massage) with it’.
